Titirangi Golf Club
Taking out the top spot is the Titirangi Golf Club, this world-class golf course was designed by famous British course designer Alister Mackenzie – well known in golfing circles for crafting some of the finest golf courses around the world.
Roughly 20 minutes drive from Auckland the Titirangi Golf Club is located at 11 Links Road, New Lynn, Auckland. The Gulf Harbour Country Club is a very scenic 45-minute drive from Auckland, located at 180 Gulf Harbour Drive, Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa. Or make an adventurous day out of it and take the ferry from downtown Auckland. At just over an hour the ferry trip adds a little something extra to the day and only costs around $15 per person.
Muriwai Golf Links
Rounding off the top three is Muriwai Golf Links, built old-school style this champion golf course throws out a challenge to even the most seasoned golfers. Accessible all year round, the course is irrigated in the summer and dry underfoot in the winter making it a popular choice for winter golfers.
