New Zealand Snow: Driving Advice

With the large snowfalls falling across New Zealand this week, we wanted to ensure our car rental customers travel safely over the next few days.

If you have already picked up your rental car, please drive carefully and check out our advice for safe winter driving. Be especially careful first thing in the morning as any melted snow can freeze over, causing icy conditions. If the weather becomes severe, consider staying where you are until the roads clear up and are safer to travel.

For anyone due to pick up their rental car today or in the next couple of days, please contact your pick-up branch for details of any travel issues, or check out the AA Roadwatch website for road closures.
