Our commitment is to provide you with a rental car, which is safe, clean, reliable and affordable.

These are some of the services we offer:

Free Courtesy Pickup

If you arrive in Greymouth by the Transalpine Express, we will bring your car hire vehicle to the Greymouth Railway Station to meet you, and at the end of your hire we will drop you off at the station. We will also deliver your hire car to any hotel, motel or B& B in the Greymouth district. (Up to 10 km radius of our premises.)

One Way Rentals

We can assist you with one-way rentals to most South Island cities. Some restrictions and minimum rentals may apply.

Credit Cards

We accept all the major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, AMEX and Diners. We will require one of these cards to cover the bond required for your hire contract and to cover the possible insurance excess.

License Requirements and Insurance

The hirer or driver of a car hire vehicle must have a current New Zealand drivers' license or a current driver's license for the country in which he/she normally resides.

GST

A Goods and Services Tax of 12.5% applies to all New Zealand car hire charges. GST is included New Zealand Rent a Cars' rates.

There may be a number of ways in which the staff at our car hire in Greymouth can make your stay more enjoyable. Our staff are all born and bred West Coasters and have a wealth of knowledge of the district and its attractions. They are only too pleased to share this with you and make recommendations as to where to go, what time to go, what equipment you might need, and many other relevant details.

Are you a golfer? There are many attractive golf courses around Greymouth. Ask our staff about them!

Are you planning to attend famous events such as the Kumara Races or the Hokitika Wildfoods festival? Perhaps we can arrange tickets or help with accommodation advice.
