About Us

Our Palmerston North car hire branch is part of the New Zealand Rent A Car network, offering affordable car hire from locations all over New Zealand.

The Palmerston North car rental branch has been involved with car hire in Palmerston North since 1972. We moved to our present location on the corner of Main and Ruahine Streets in 1981, and we have been associated with New Zealand Rent A Car for more than a decade. We joined with NZ Rent A Car so we could provide a helpful and friendly service and a better range of vehicles for our customers. The group has continued to grow and is now the largest multi depot company offering off-airport car hire in New Zealand.

From early beginnings our small Palmerston North business of just three hire cars and one truck has grown to a large fleet of rental vehicles that consists of a variety of hire cars, vans, minibuses, people movers, trailers and trucks. Our rental fleet is always changing to fit the requirements and needs of our customers.
