Or make an adventurous day out of it and take the ferry from downtown Auckland. At just over an hour the ferry trip adds a little something extra to the day and only costs around $15 per person.
Muriwai Golf Links

Quite substantially considered New Zealand’s best golf course, Tara Iti provides individuality and a challenge in a simply unique package. Well-designed fairways and greens are a delight for seasoned golfers, demanding skill and forethought as each of the 18 holes presents its own unique encounter.
