Skydive Waikato

Situated just 45 minutes from Hamilton, Skydive Waikato could be the best fun you’ll ever have! For those brave enough, Skydive Waikato specialise in solo and tandem skydives, accelerated freefall training courses and advanced skydiver training. Bookings required.

The Hamilton Gardens

Hamilton Gardens are situated at the southern end of Hamilton city and cover an area of 58 hectares. Owned and managed by the Hamilton City Council, admission to the Gardens is free.

The Waikato Museum

The Waikato Museum was established in 1987 and is situated in central Hamilton. The Museum has 12 galleries over 5 levels and features a variety of long-term and temporary exhibitions. Entry is free but donations are welcomed.

Waikato River Cruises

Waikato River Cruises are run through Cruise Waikato. Launched in 2009, Waikato River Cruises offer a selection of cruises all at affordable prices.  Bookings essential.

Hamilton Zoo

Hamilton Zoo expands over 25 hectares of land and is home to over 600 native NZ and exotic animals. Located just a short drive from central Hamilton, the Zoo is open 9am-5pm daily.
